Severe weather is a year-round possibility that can affect liturgies and parish activities.
Our parish policy for ice and snow follows:
WEEKDAYS during the 9-month school year
Mornings - The parish conforms to Durham Public Schools' pronouncements: the delayed opening of schools or cancellation of classes affects parish office hours and cancels morning liturgy. (Exception: When DPS are delayed as a result of low temperatures and no other harsh weather conditions, parish office hours and morning liturgy will continue as scheduled.) For details, check the website for a Special Alert or call the Parish Center voice mail greeting at (919) 544-7135.
Afternoons and Evenings – Any cancellation of liturgies or parish activities will be announced on the website via Special Alert and on the Parish Center voice mail greeting: call (919) 544-7135.
WEEKDAYS during school holidays and the summer
Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings – Any cancellation of liturgies or parish activities will be announced on the website via Special Alert and on the Parish Center voice mail greeting: call (919) 544-7135.
WEEKENDS
