Volunteer, donate to the Durham Community Food Pantry

The Durham Community Food Pantry provides families experiencing food insecurity a week's worth of groceries once a month. The pantry is currently in need of support from donations to volunteers. How can you help?

Bring non-perishable food items to the Narthex and place them in the food donation basket near the coffee bar. The Narthex is open to the public daily from Monday through Friday and during weekend liturgies.

Volunteer for a variety of tasks Monday-Thursday at the food pantry in the Lakewood Shopping Center at 2020 Chapel Hill Rd, Suite 30. Volunteering hours are as follows: 

• Monday/Tuesday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (prep days)
• Wednesday/Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. (distribution day)
• Wednesday Afternoon 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.(distribution day)
