Hunger is one of the greatest injustices facing our world, but it doesn’t have to be this way. This past weekend, Durham's annual CROP Walk went virtual!
CROP Walk coordinator Amy Mackin reports that the parish exceeded its goal by raising $1,720 toward hunger relief, locally and globally. It's not too late to donate. Visit Holy Infant's CROP Walk page.
Historically, Durham has one of the largest walks in the country, and it's an amazing community event where people unite to end hunger together. 25 percent of what we raise stays here in Durham, and 75 percent supports hunger initiatives around the world.
"It was great to feel our community come together during this stressful time, though we also look forward to walking together in person next year," said Mackin. Check our Facebook page for more photos from the walk.
