Faith Development year begins with a family service opportunity

Register now for Faith Development for grades Pre-K through 12.

Registration for 2019-2020 Faith Development is now open! Join us for opportunities for year-round faith development including Faith First, Children’s Faith Development, JYM (Junior Youth Ministry), TYM (Total Youth Ministry) and Sacrament Preparation.

Join us for New Beginnings & Blessing Bags, the kick-off to the Faith Development year, on Sunday, September 8th from 9:30 am to 10:45 am for all GRADE LEVELS. At this event, come meet your catechists, get your faith development packet and find out what is in store for the year ahead!  As a family, you will create a blessing bag (hygiene kit) to be donated to Urban Ministries of Durham.

Sessions continue on Sunday, September 15th

  • Pre-K through 5th grade: 9:40 am to 10:45 am
  • JYM (6th through 8th grade): 6:30 pm to 8 pm
  • TYM (9th through 12th grade): 6:30 pm to 8 pm

Faith First Events: Faith First aims to bring our parish family together to grow in our Catholic faith and live out the Gospel values. These multi-generational events are held during the first weekend of the month.

Sacrament Preparation: Please review criteria for Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation on the parish website under Worship & Sacraments.

Lastly, do you feel called to be a witness to the Gospel message and help others deepen their relationship with Christ, all while strengthening your own faith? Consider becoming a Catechist!

We are so excited for what is in store this year!  Register now!  For any additional questions or inquiries, please contact Leanne Woodward, Assistant Director of Faith Development, or Rachel Barker, Faith Development Coordinator.
