Christmas Came Early With Share Your Christmas Support

The Share Your Christmas Ministry gift return that took place earlier this year had another wonderful year all thanks to the extremely generous support and dedication of Holy Infant’s parishioners.

The Share Your Christmas Ministry had another wonderful year thanks to 57 dedicated Ministry members & the extremely generous support of Holy Infant’s parishioners.  Additional thanks to Jason Langlois, owner of Packaging Express in Woodcroft, who freely gave a delivery truck as well as his time to drive the red tag gifts to the Volunteer Center of Durham.  A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus and all Ministry volunteers who made calls, wrote down names, collected, sorted and/or delivered presents.  And an extra special thanks to our new Ministry members helping this year: Richard & Louise Kowalsky as well as Nick & Bridgette Foster. Altogether, we collected $5220 in grocery cards for Catholic Charities, Baby Love and Pregnancy Support Services.  We also collected 71 gift bags with baby supplies or children’s coats, all delivered by a parish member to Welcome Baby’s Giving Closet.  Finally, we helped 56 families (91 individuals) with Durham Social Services (red tags) and 15 families (87 individuals) with Catholic Charities (green tags) celebrate Christmas by purchasing $12000+ in Christmas gifts.  Once again, we have enjoyed celebrating the season with all of you, and we are humbled and grateful for your support of the Christmas ministry.

God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
