Parish Lenten Mission: Find God again beyond the distractions

Rev. John J. Fisher, OSFS, will lead retreat April 2, 3 & 4.

The season of Lent invites us to sharpen our focus on God and clear out the distractions of our lives.

Facebook, jobs, food, sports and even church can compete for our time and energy. While not inherently bad, these things become problems when we allow them to distract us from looking at and to God.

Join us for our three-night Parish Lenten Mission to learn ways to deepen your contact with the Divine in prayer and to live in relationship with God.

The Rev. John J. Fisher, OSFS, a rector at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Camden, NJ, will lead participants through an examination of what clouds our focus on God and how to regain that focus.

On night one, we will examine our busy lives and identify the distractions.

On night two, we will explore how to regain our focus on God.

On night three, we will participate in the parish’s Lenten Reconciliation Service.

No registration is necessary.
