Got a Respect Life gift tag? Here are your next steps.

Volunteers needed to help sort and deliver gifts on Respect Life weekend, Oct. 12 and 13.

Thank you to everyone who took a Respect Life gift request on Sept. 21 and 22. Gift request cards are still available. Pick one up in the Atrium or choose from the suggested items below from Catholic Charities, Pregnancy Support Services and Room at the Inn

  • Gift cards from Food Lion, Target and Walmart - any amount. (Please write the amount of the donation on the card and attach the receipt)
  • Baby wipes
  • Baby formula – any kind
  • Diapers – All sizes-newborn through size 6
  • Regular white towels and washcloths (For expectant moms and their children)
  • Body wash/shampoo/toothbrush/dental floss (For expectant moms and their children)
  • Baby bath towels and washcloths
  • Baby bath wash/shampoo, lotion, Desitin
  • Long-sleeved sleepers – boys & girls – sizes newborn through 3 months
  • Long-sleeved sleepers – boys & girls – sizes 3-6 months
  • Long-sleeved sleepers – boys & girls – sizes 6-9 months
  • Long-sleeved sleepers boys & girls – sizes 9-12 months
  • Neutral-colored sleepers – boys & girls – all sizes 3-12 months

** PSS and Room at the Inn would also like donations of gently used maternity clothes, sizes large and extra-large.  Please label the bag with the season and size.

Parishioners have two weeks to purchase their item. Gifts should be brought back, unwrapped, to the Mass you attend on Respect Life Weekend, Oct. 12 and 13. Drop off your gifts in the collection containers before Mass. Can't make it that weekend? Drop gifts off at the Parish Center during office hours, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Contact Diane Gerding for questions or to help sort the gifts after Masses on Oct. 12 and 13 and to deliver the gifts to Pregnancy Support Services, Room at the Inn and Catholic Charities the week of Oct. 14.
