Good food, good deeds merge at upcoming Chefs for Change dinners

Tickets still available for May 20 dinner to support Families Moving Forward.

A handful of tickets remain for the May 20 Chefs for Change dinner with Chef Carrie Schleiffer from Alley Twenty Six. Schleiffer is known for her work at the Gramercy Tavern in NYC and locally at Bar Virgile before joining Alley Twenty Six.

Tickets are available for the May 20 dinner as well as July 8 and September 9. A portion of each ticket is tax deductible.

Now in its third year, Chefs for Change is a fundraising dinner series that pairs the burgeoning Durham food scene with the needs of families experiencing homelessness. A distinguished chef will serve three or more courses at a ticketed dinner with the proceeds benefiting Families Moving Forward, Durham's largest shelter for families with children in the crisis of homelessness.

Holy Infant supports their mission with regular dinner service and childcare as well as our Barrels of Joy collection of new household items such as bedding, cleaning supplies and personal hygience items. Stay tuned for details on upcoming dinner service and Barrels of Joy collections in June.
