Come visit the Holy Infant Food Justice Garden between and after the Sunday masses on May 25th (9:30 am to 11:20 am and 12:30 pm to 1 pm) in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical – Laudato Si’ (We Praise You!). Learn about reducing waste/recycling, water conservation, and bee health, and take home a free 4oz jar of honey per family and/or a tomato plant for your garden. Enter the garden next to the parish office.
Families with children are encouraged to join us on Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9-11 am for a hands-on gardening experience that promotes sustainable agriculture and food equity.
Participating in the Food Justice Garden workdays is a great opportunity to teach your children important skills while giving back to the community. From planting seeds to harvesting fresh vegetables, there are plenty of tasks for the whole family to get involved in.
