Special Collection for Hurricane Disaster Relief This Weekend

The second collection at Masses on September 30 and October 1 will benefit victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

In the wake of Hurricane Irma, Bishop Zarama requested a diocese-wide special collection to benefit the victims of this disaster. Within days of this request, Hurricane Maria devastated the Caribbean. In light of this, the special collection this weekend will aid both Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria disaster relief. The funds will be directed to the Unites States Conference of Catholic Bishops, which is working with Catholic Charities USA to get immediate and long-term assistance to those impacted by these catastrophes.
