Catholic Charities Asks for Help as Their Pantry Runs Low

Can you bring a few cans or boxes of food to Mass to feed our hungry brothers and sisters?

Thank you for your ongoing generous donations of food items for those in need in our parish and community Donations are distributed through Catholic Charities and Baby Love. We recently received word from Catholic Charities that their food pantry's shelves are dangerously close to bare. Please continue your support to our hurting members and neighbors and purchase some of the following items on your next shopping trip, then place them in the basket in the Atrium.

For Catholic Charities:

dry (boxed) low-sugar cereal, old-fashioned oatmeal, pasta, pasta sauces, boxed dinners, mac & cheese, Ramen noodles, instant potatoes, rice, crackers, canned meats (such as chicken, tuna, salmon), peanut butter, jelly, low-sodium canned vegetables, canned fruits in natural juice (no sugar added), applesauce, sugar-free gelatin, canned or dry soup, canned stew or chili, powdered milk, fruit juices, instant coffee, tea bags, flour, sugar, cooking oil

PLEASE DO NOT donate foods past their expiration dates as they must be discarded, or foods that require additional
ingredients other than water as the recipients of your donations may not have access to such ingredients (for example, the eggs required to make a cake from a box mix).

Thank you for your help and generosity!
