The miracle attributed to Fr. McGivney that has led to his beatification was the live birth of a Tennessee couple’s son Michael Schachle.
Baby Mikey, the son of Daniel and Michele Schachle, was delivered alive and kicking into the world just over five years ago against all odds and to the amazement of doctors and medical specialists. Mikey’s critical prenatal health conditions made it almost certain that he would die in the womb and enter the world stillborn. After praying for Father McGivney’s intercession to save their son, baby Mikey was born alive.
