Catholic Relief Services helping in wake of Hurricane Dorian

Learn how you can help communities in need in the Bahamas.

Catholic Relief Services is now accepting donations to help families and communities recover from Hurricane Dorian.

CRS and local partners are working quickly to assess immediate needs. Donations help bring relief, in the form of food, emergency shelter, and safe water, to affected families.

Locally, Catholic Charities of Raleigh is stepping up to help those affected on the North Carolina coast. The agency is currently accepting financial donations only. Financial contributions from our parish go a long way toward the years-long efforts to rebuild in communities. Our parish's special collection in 2017 for Hurricane Harvey victims helped Catholic Charities provide immediate emergency housing, food, counseling and more to those affected by the storm. Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston says the contributions helped more than 22,000 people receive assistance to rebuild their lives.

Please continue to pray for those impacted by Hurricane Dorian, as well as the staff and volunteers who are providing assistance to those in need.
