This week, we welcome a new staff member who will lead faith formation for TYM, young adults and adults.
Amber was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Chapel Hill in 1999, where she lived until heading to college at Appalachian State University. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction at Appalachian before returning to Chapel Hill to begin teaching. She previously taught at Mary Scroggs Elementary and Immaculata Catholic School.
"My love of teaching was formed by my time as a Vacation Bible School and Sunday School teacher throughout high school and college," she said.
“Transitioning from public school to Catholic school made me quickly realize that my true passion lies in faith formation, and I am excited to journey with the youth and adults at Holy Infant as we grow in our faith."
