Aging with Dignity and Grace series coming this summer

Topics include spirituality, nutrition and exercise, and legal issues.

Explore issues surrounding the aging process at a summer series sponsored by UNC Catholic Newman Center, Holy Infant and St. Thomas More.

Sessions take place Tuesdays starting on July 16 from 10 am - 12 pm in the Friends and Family Hall at St. Thomas More.


July 16 “A Spirituality for the Second Half of Life” – Catholic spiritual directors Jim Hynes, Lori Eichel and Rosemary Somich

July 23 “Caring for Mind, Body and Spirit” – nutritionist Monica Gulisano, yoga instructor Dorita Beh-Eger and Mary Beth McGranaghan, P.A.

July 30 “Praying our Goodbyes” – Fr. Bill Robinson, O.F.M. Conv.

August 6 “Planning your Funeral Mass” – Deacon Bob Troy

August 13 “Legal Documents in End of Life Planning” – Patrick O’Connell, M.D.

August 20 “Estate Planning” – Ryan Flood from the Diocese of Raleigh and attorney Charles Griffin. (There will be a repeat presentation at 6:30 pm at Holy Infant.)
