A Thank You From Catholic Charities

The Durham Community Food Pantry and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh would like to extend a warm appreciation and sincere gratitude to the parishioners of Holy Infant.

“The measure of the greatness of a society is found in the way it treats those most in need, those who have nothing apart from their poverty.”

– Pope Francis

On behalf of our staff, volunteers, and most importantly, the people that we serve, Catholic Charities of Diocese of Raleigh would like to express our sincere appreciation to the parishioners of Holy Infant Catholic Church for your overwhelming response on Respect Life Sunday. Your generous donation of baby wipes, diapers (more than 2,300 in assorted sizes) and gift cards totaling more than $900, will go a long way in meeting the needs of low-income families in the Piedmont Deanery.

Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!

Elise Mudd, Program Director, Durham Community Food Pantry

The Durham Community Food Pantry, a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, works to end food insecurity in Durham and Orange County. The facility will open in Fall 2018 and replicate the service model currently in practice at Catholic Parish Outreach. The food pantry will be a collaborate effort engaging multiple partners through Durham and Orange counties to address this incredibly important need.
