Holy Infant will host its 21st annual Filipino celebration of the Feast of Santo Niño on Sunday, January 20 at 1:15 pm. This joyful feast is an important tradition of the Filipino community. Every year in January, in the city of Cebu in the Philipines, millions of people gather for the parades, street dances, and Masses in honor of the Santo Niño (the child Jesus).

The Welcome begins at 1:15pm, followed by the Chaplet of the Holy Infant Jesus. Sponsored by the Filipino community from around the Triangle, the event includes the traditional “Sinulog” procession outside the church with the Float of Santo Niño. Filipinos and fellow parishioners join in the colorful festive procession around the church driveway with their own Santo Niño in hand.

At 2:00pm Mass in honor of the Santo Niño will be celebrated by Fr. Robert Rutledge, OSFS, pastor of Holy Infant.

All are invited to the celebration. Following Mass, a reception will be held in the Hospitality Room.
