Diocesan PilgrimageWe in the Diocese of Raleigh have been invited to make this pilgrimage with the Bishop.  We would travel by bus with Saint Thomas More parishioners leaving around 4:00 am.  We would arrive in Washington in time to attend the 10:30 am Mass with Bishop Burbidge as the celebrant.  Return would be late evening the same day.

After Mass, the pilgrims will have the opportunity to pray the Rosary in various National Chapels, attend Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Crypt Church, and walk with Jesus through the Stations of the Cross.  There will be a tour of Faith, tours of the Shrine, devotion time, and a Holy Hour.* There are 30+ magnificent shrines and chapels of the Basilica to see and explore. For a schedule of events, see the diocesan website.

The total cost per person is $80. Checks made payable to Holy Infant.  ($20 fee by the Diocese which includes lunch at the Basilica and $60 by the bus company for transportation.)
