Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

At the miracle of the loaves and fishes, Jesus asked his disciples to give the crowds something to eat. In like manner, the Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion serves the gathered community “at the will of Christ and the Church to sanctify the people of God.” 

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the presider in distributing the gifts of the Body and Blood of Christ to the Assembly. 

EMHCs ( or EMOCs)  must be at least 16 years of age, be confirmed and be living in accordance with the beliefs of the Catholic Church.
