For our 50th Anniversary as a parish community, we will be compiling a book of stories and anecdotes from the last half-century.
In 50 years, the parish has grown from a small parish of 70 families to a 900 family community in a rapidly growing corner of Durham. As our parish grew, we began to identify ourselves as a people, not a place.
Places have histories. People have stories. And we want to hear yours. Whether you’re new here or remember the old days of our parish, we want to know what makes Holy Infant special to you.
Were you married here? Were your kids baptized here? Did they receive First Eucharist here? Who remembers Parents Morning Out on Friday mornings?
Were you here when our church was damaged by fire? Did your family celebrate Mass at Parkwood Elementary while the church was being rebuilt?
This year, we gave you a pen and a platform to tell us about YOUR Holy Infant. We have made it easy to submit your story. Check out the form on our parish website.
Does your story come with a picture? Send that in, too, via e-mail or the DropBox link on the website.
Questions? Call 919-973-0012. Submissions will be accepted until March 31.
