Mother's Day looked a little different this year for many as stay-at-home orders changed the atmosphere and events that are typically hallmarks in the celebration of motherhood.
However, the gift of technology brought teens, moms, grandmothers and women of influence together on Sunday evening for prayer and thanksgiving. Tiny video squares of smiling faces decorated computer screens, some connecting from hundreds of miles away. The familiarity of the rosary brought joy, comfort and peace in times of uncertainty.
Tracy and Kendra Gentry, a mother/daughter duo who helped lead a decade of the rosary, expressed that "it was really nice that so many showed up with their moms and grandmas to pray together." This sentiment was echoed by many in attendance.
Check out the recording from Sunday on the PRAYER GROUPS page, and pray the rosary with/for your mother, grandmother or special woman of influence through the intercession of our Mother, Mary.
Prayer Ministries continue to meet via various technology platforms. We welcome new participants!
