Holy Infant is planning to begin offering Catechesis of the Good Shepherd as part of our children's faith development program. Some parishioners are already engaged in training sessions to become catechists.
But becoming a catechist is not the only way to be involved in this process. Did you know that most of the materials used in the ministry are handmade?
That means we need gifted woodworkers and sewers to help create materials. No matter your skill level, there are many ways to contribute through painting, working with clay, calligraphy, sewing, woodworking and papercrafts.
CGS offers children and adults a method of faith formation that focuses on the intrinsic religious capacities of young children. Children ages 3 to 6 years gather in a prepared environment called the Atrium to pray, to work and to contemplate the most essential themes of our faith.
