Piedmont Deanery

For administrative and pastoral reasons, the diocese is geographically divided into deaneries; the Diocese of Raleigh has eight deaneries.  A deanery is a cluster of parishes in relatively close geographic proximity to each other.  A dean (Vicar Forane / V.F.) is appointed to each deanery by the bishop.

Holy Infant and the parishes listed here form the Piedmont Deanery. Currently, Very Reverend Scott McCue, V.F., pastor of St. Thomas More in Chapel Hill, is Dean of the Piedmont Deanery.
